It all started for me as a little 3 year old girl when I had my first encounter with a stunning Friesian horse. It was then my dream began to one day own my own Dutch Friesian stud. After a lot of research, chatting with experienced horse people and seeing what's out there on the market, we feel blessed to be able to make our dream come true. Whilst we have altered the dream slightly, we believe we have the combination right and are very excited to see what the future holds.

It was through a chance meeting with one of Victoria's top up and coming Warmblood Stallions Kenlock Park Indian Sky and owner Chris Davie that we are able to offer people all around Australian the chance to own your own stunning coloured sporthorse with excellent bloodlines.

Evening Star Ranch has made it our goal to breed high quality coloured Friesian and Warmblood Sporthorses for all disciplines of competition. We are looking to breed horses with a temperament that is second to none; which will provide equestrian riders who are looking to stand out in a class of their own, with a unique chance to own a coloured Friesian or Warmblood Sporthorse.

The name Evening Star holds a special place in my heart as it was what my husband always called me when we started dating. He then designed my engagement ring to have the galaxies orbit around the centre (Evening Star) stone. We thought that this would be the perfect name to name our stud.
