Malikah Rudge Australian Showjumper
"Magic is believing in yourself, if you can do that you can make anything happen"
Malikah Rudge is a young Australian showjumper based at Evening Star Ranch in Victoria, where she combines her passion for horses with a commitment to excellence in equestrian sport.
Having grown up around horses from an early age, Malikah sat on her first pony before she could walk and began formal riding lessons at four years of age. Since then, she has dedicated herself to developing as both a rider and horsewoman, progressing through the ranks of Australian showjumping while balancing her academic studies and leadership roles within the equestrian community.
Known for her work ethic, horsemanship, and ability to ride a variety of horses, Malikah has successfully campaigned horses from young prospects through to national-level competition. She has represented Victoria at Interschool National Championships and continues to pursue opportunities at the highest levels of the sport.
In 2025, Malikah was appointed Equestrian Victoria Jumping Young Ambassador, recognising her leadership, sportsmanship, and commitment to promoting the values of equestrian sport.
Malikah has competed successfully throughout Australia and internationally, including a training and competition campaign at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida, where she achieved top ten placings across multiple weeks of competition against strong international fields.
In addition to her riding commitments, Malikah serves as a Junior International Board Member for a non-profit organistation, reflecting her commitment to leadership, community engagement, and supporting initiatives that make a positive impact beyond the sport.
Alongside her riding career, Malikah maintains strong academic results and is pursuing a pathway toward university studies in Law and Psychology.
